Scientifically classified as Arboridae, Tree Dragons are a unique example of evolutionary adaptation to the harsh desert environment of Aritudo. Their morphology and vital ecological role make them key contributors to the planet’s sustainable flora development.
Tree Dragons are fundamentally peaceful creatures that can live for up to 500 years and each up to 30 meters in height and length. Despite their imposing appearance, they move slowly and heavily through the planet’s desert landscapes.
They are known to settle near oases after traversing long distances across arid terrain.
Their desert crossings and the resulting reforestation are a breathtaking spectacle, helping to soften the extreme conditions of Aritudo’s environment. These remarkable creatures become guardians of the oases and pioneers of new life amidst the seemingly endless wastelands.

As soon as they discover a water source, they begin producing nourishing fruits whose seeds enable reproduction. Under optimal conditions, the seeds within these fruits sprout into young Tree Dragons, which then set out to green arid regions.

Once a mature Tree Dragon has found a place where it can thrive, it typically never leaves again. They take root and can absorb nutrients from fertile soil. Additionally, they feed on insects.
Over the course of several years, lush forests begin to grow around the dragon, providing food and shelter for other creatures.
Scientifically classified as Paqua, this amphibious creature is revered by the Arithani as a water deity, credited with the power to revive dried-out springs and create new water sources across the arid landscape.

River Dragons navigate an underground network of waterways. They are exceptional swimmers, equipped with both lungs and gills, allowing them to thrive in submerged tunnels as well as on land. Their movements help shape the subterranean hydrology of Aritudo, making them vital agents in the planet’s cycle of renewal and life.
Note: This species did not originally come from the planet Aritudo, but was integrated into its ecosystem with the arrival of the Lazulithani - for a more efficient greening of the planet.
The sand mouse lives in the deserts of Aritudo and is active during dawn and dusk. To avoid the midday heat, it retreats into underground burrows. Its diet consists of fruits, nuts, and occasionally insects.

A small rodent that dwells near floating tubers and lives off them. Through a symbiotic bond, it has evolved into a hybrid creature, able to float using the buoyant gas the tubers produce, aiding in their spore dispersal.
